Look at Chris, guys! His sister Dani just uploaded this photo of him a little while ago. He’s always been so handsome - just look at him. He was an angel even before he left us!

To this day, the sight of his pictures still sting a little bit. A few days ago one of my friends pointed out that he “liked” a picture of me and another close mutual friend that I put up maybe a week or two before he passed. I really do miss him so much. His voice and his laugh is still ringing so distinctly in my head.. it reminds me of butterscotch. It’s hard to describe how butterscotch tastes, and it’s hard to describe exactly how his voice sounded. It was deep, and sweet. I don’t think I’ll ever forget it, I wouldn’t allow myself to.

I’ll be honest, I thought that maybe with some time it would get easier to just accept it, but it isn’t. It just isn’t sitting right with me at all. I can’t really grasp the fact that I’m really not going to get one of his big bear hugs again or have any heart-to-hearts. I’m never going to hear him tell me to stop arguing with my dad in public again or have my dad come home from the school and tell me, “Hey that Chris kid asked about you again, you know.” I would gladly hand over my life in exchange for his back any day.

Today’s just one of those days I guess. I’ll get through it.

i willl NEVER forget this kid & his adorable doofy smile i cant seem to get him off my mind i still cry here & there its such a shame that hes not here with us anymore =/ we all still miss you like crazy chris … it hasnt gotten easier with time, but were all staying strong <3 rest easy angel.
